Q: Is the online course different than a traditional classroom course?

A: Online course content is the same as courses offered in the traditional classroom. Instructors give lectures and students work through exercises all delivered in real-time.

Q: Are Classes taugt in English?

A: Yes, Online Quran Academy offers classes in English as well as Urdu.

Q: Do you have Female teachers for Sisters only class?

A: Yes, Online Quran Academy has experienced Female Quran Tutors at our academy for sisters.

Q: Do I need special software installed on my computer?

A: No. Our Online Quran Academy Inc. provides each student access to a virtual classroom. Students simply log in the day of the class and the software is available to use for the duration of the course.

Q: How is the course presented? Do I work at my own pace?

A: Students connect to Microsoft Teams to view Instructor-led lectures and work through exercises during class time with instructor assistance available when needed.

Parents log in to Ad-Din App on their choice of device, i.e. Phone, Tablet or Computer and stay informed about the course progress, Attendance and each activity.

Q: Do I need to do anything before the course to prepare for an online class?

A: Our Technology experts will send a link to each parent an email prior to the class that includes connection tests to ensure you can log into the virtual classroom without issue. The email will also guide and include a link to download the course workbook. Students will need to perform the tests before the course start date, if there are any questions or concerns, please contact us at support@quranacademy.ca. An instructor will not be able to assist you during the class.

Q: Do we have to pay separately for the software?

A: No, Our fees cover all the software cost, you will receive the licensed version of the software with Username and password provided by our technology experts.

Q: Do we get hard copies of the books?

A: No, we provide an electronic version of Dua book, Qaidah (Ahsanul Qawaid), electronic version of Fiqh book and electronic version of the Tajweed book relevant to each level and are taught in a pleasant way to interest the children. We expect Child to have their own Colour Coded Quran.
